In Oregon and Alaska, office visits with naturopathic doctors generally are covered by insurance with a few exceptions (federal plans may not offer naturopathic benefits, but there are now some workarounds for Medicare.) Telemedicine visits are currently covered as office visits.

We will happily bill insurance for you, or provide the forms you need to do it yourself. If your insurance does not cover our visits, we offer generous discounts for payment at time of service. Unfortunately, we cannot accept OHP patients at this time. In Oregon, Dr. Izakson is an in-network provider with:
- Moda (Community Care Network, Connexus, Connexus Alternative Care, OHSU PPO, HMC & OHSU Health)
- Optum/United HealthCare
- Regence Blue Cross Blue Shield
If you have a different insurance provider, we often can bill effectively on your behalf. Please contact your insurer to find out the specifics of your coverage.
We are committed to working with you to get the most out of your insurance! Dr. Izakson is an in-network provider for the following Alaska insurance networks:

For patients where Dr. Izakson is an in-network provider, we will automatically bill your insurance company and let you know if additional payments are required. All insurance billing is done through Efficient Medical Billing Services. If you have questions about your bill from us, please contact them directly.
If you are insured through a company Dr. Izakson is not in network with, we require payment at time of service. In those cases we offer both a cash discount and all the paperwork you need to submit for insurance reimbursement. Please contact your insurer to find out the specifics of your plan’s coverage.
