In Oregon and Alaska, office visits with naturopathic doctors generally are covered by insurance with a few exceptions (federal plans including Medicare generally do not offer naturopathic benefits.) Telemedicine visits are currently covered as office visits.
How does your medical insurance cover naturopathic care? Use this form when contacting your insurance company.
We will happily bill insurance for you, or provide the forms you need to do it yourself. If your insurance does not cover our visits, we offer generous discounts for payment at time of service.
In Oregon, Dr. Izakson is an in-network provider with:
- Moda (Beacon, Community Care Network, Connexus, Connexus Alternative Care and Rose City Network)
- Optum/United HealthCare
- Regence Blue Cross Blue Shield
If you have a different insurance provider, we often can bill effectively on your behalf. Please call your insurer to find out the specifics of your coverage.
Dr. Orna is not currently in network with Alaska insurance plans, and all visits are offered at a flat, cash rate. But state laws require most Alaska insurance companies to reimburse well for these services, and we will give you the appropriate forms at the end of your visit so you can get the most money back. Please use this form to check your actual coverage. Appointments coming soon!
